Each year about 6,000 babies are born with Down Syndrome, the leading chromosomal disorder in the U.S. Down Syndrome causes delays in physical and mental development that can make school, parenting, and leading an independent adult life very challenging. Without the proper resources, families of children with Down Syndrome can feel quite overwhelmed.
