So I'm someone who leads their life almost solely on heart ❤️ and intuition. ? Details, plans, strategy....sounds boring to me. I'm a big picture person, how can I do the MOST with the LEAST kind of girl. They say my personality profile is "the risk taker"..... ?. Problem is, sometimes those details are essential. The last several months I have been reflecting, restraining and working on "not doing". During this time, I have been able to see where in my rush? to do? to become ?to achieve , I failed to understand that heart and passion will only get you so far. These poses are the perfect example. When I first saw this variation in class, I was unsure I had the core strength to lift my leg. I tried to muscle ?it up in class, in a challenging and only mildly successful way. This is where the details (and its sister, anatomy) come in. Working more closely with my teacher @antonyoga11 I have to come to realize how little I listen ?. As a visual processor I tend to just let the words float over my head only passively listening. However, when I stepped back and really absorbed the placement (detail) and anatomical instructions (another boring detail) to the pose......boom ? I popped it up first shot!
