Looking down into the last holding pool of what would have to be my favourite river. I was hunting up here with friends, but couldn't help myself with the river so near. I explored right up to the headwaters where it splits into 2 and becomes too small to hold adult fish. With that logic I must have caught the 'last fish' in the river, a 6lb hen 1km below this spot. It was the only fish i saw for about 3km walking. I also fortuitously saw a sika deer on the river bank.
