Trout have the ability to almost vanish at will, so don't be disheartened when you come to a picture perfect pool and there appears to be nothing there. If the habitat is good a fish will be present, but perhaps not active. Such was the case here, when after having lunch for a while a rainbow appeared out of nowhere...
