An alternative CDC mayfly tied with moose body in the thorax to aid the balance of the fly and imitate legs. Waste in fly tying always frustrates me, so I look for any opportunity to reuse trimmed hairs or feathers. Usually the result's disappointing, but occasionally you stumble onto something really neat.
