This past weekend I made good on my vow to get as much fishing in as I possibly could before daylight savings ended. I spent some time on the incredibly challenging Cimarron River just north of Angle Fire that really tested my patience after a day and a half of not even a single bite. More on this to come.
I was also able to extend the weekend to monday and spent the day showing my Instagram friend turned real-life friend, @ryanonthefly my home waters. Everyone talks about how great the @instagram community can be and I think that sentiment is doubled when you mix in people that value the outdoors. Ryan really dropped some fishing knowledge on me and as a self taught angler, Im incredibly grateful for it. We hooked up on a few great rainbows and browns and made the most of an irregularly warm November day.
