After nine hours on the edge of my seat at O'hare resulting in three canceled flights, due to an ice storm here in my sweet hometown Chicago, I have these words I found in a quiet airport bookstore that I needed so much this month. Everyone sees the wins for an entrepreneur, they don't know the failures that make the wins possible. If you're feeling like an idiot, an embarrassment, a disappointment or just really shaky in a land of "how in the world will I make this happen?" as I often do, hang in there. If this was easy, it wouldn't create change. Be nice to yourself, so you can keep going. The more I beat myself up, the less I can do. Remember your failures missteps mistakes and hardships are a critical part of the win, you don't win in spite of them, but because of.
