And we are all both. ? As I spend some time getting to know some homeless people this winter in NYC, I realize without a home, friends, family or food, they have also lost the privilege of being treated like a person. For me it has been pretty hard to pay rent at times, if I didn't have friends and family to turn to in unexpected challenging times, I could just as well have ended up on the street. Even when we think we have little to give, we can give someone respect and empathy for the strength they must have to still get up each day and not just scream, despite it all. I can only imagine. I am inspired by their will, gratitude, and resilience. I am so grateful for my family and friends and all of you. Stay warm, loves... Xo @leannemaily
