Treehouse of dreams. Lina Bo Bardi's Casa de Vidro - Glass House - built in 1951 and her home for decades - has come to symbolise a golden age of Brazilian Modernism. Inspired by Brazilian culture, Bo Bardi both planted the vegetation around and designed everything within — from the seamless way the windows slide open, to sleek black horn-like doorknobs and kitchen utensils.
