When Graciela Iturbide asked her son to design her a studio, her only condition was that it be made of brick: The result, in historic Coyoacán, Mexico City, combines four kinds — all handmade in Puebla, a city known for its ceramics. A photographer's haven, the walls are adorned with little but the shadows of the day’s moving light.
