"The idea was to create spaces that adapted to the human being" – Javier Senosiain
Along a quiet street in the Naucalpan de Juárez neighbourhood of Mexico City sits Casa Orgánica, a home made up of wide, oval spaces that are flooded with natural light.
Designed and completed by Javier Senosiain in 1984, it builds on his design philosophy that sees human habitation and the natural world as harmonious. You'll find no straight lines, just curved forms that are intended to make it feel like some of the most sacred spaces of humankind – a womb, a cloister, a cave.
