First stop in Capri: Villa Malaparte.
The lead-up to Nomad Capri has us thinking about Villa Malaparte, the famed 'red box' perched on a secluded cliff above Punta Massullo, Capri. When describing his home, Curzio Malaparte famously said "I didn't think I would be creating a self-portrait".
Its iconic architecture has been snapped up by several creatives, with one of the most iconic appearances being Le Mèpris, Jean-Luc Godard's 1963 film starring Brigitte Bardot.
