Today’s dose of bohemian inspiration comes in the form of Cuixmala, Mexico.
Politician Sir James Goldsmith developed this sprawling hideaway with French architect, Robert Couturier in 1980. Found on the Pacific coast, it’s modelled after the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul.
Today, it’s a 12-suite boutique hotel with whitewashed rooms and colourful bursts. On one side, it opens to a flower-filled courtyard, and on the other, a terrace and private pool.
