Living with a Congenital Heart Defect, it has always been important to me to not only provide awareness, but also make sure it’s known that I am more than my condition. It’s a huge part of focusing on my mental well-being. Making sure I do what’s needed to make this life given to me a happy one.
So today, that’s sharing one of my passions— beauty! Heart disease remains the number one killer of men and women. Did you know that in the US, one person dies every 36 seconds from cardiovascular disease? And 1 in 100 babies are born with a CHD?
