Abt Employee Spotlight!
Santa relies on Rudolph and his reindeer to get all of his gifts delivered on time. Abt has our fleet manager, Chuck, and the men of the fleet department. This group of guys is responsible for maintaining our fleet of nearly 500 Abt delivery and service vehicles.
Chuck has been keeping our trucks roadworthy for 20 years now, and for most of that time he's been assisted by Joe and Gus, who each have 18 years under their belt. The department is rounded out by Chris, Kevin, and Aaron. Between the six of them, there's not much that can't be dealt with. Whether it's overhauling a diesel engine in our on-site mechanic shop or fixing a flat out on the road, they're on the job six days a week to make sure everything keeps rolling smoothly.
Although his shop is on the other side of the property from our showroom and offices, Chuck is a well-known guy around the store. On any given day, there's a chance you'll see him popping into the accounting department with some invoices or stopping by the desk of someone he's known since our previous location. And if you don't see him, you'll probably hear him. Chuck's most notable feature is his loud, distinctive laugh—which is a constant occurrence when he's around.
