<p>Now Beth has this drafting table and set of tall shelves to keep her supplies in. We got the shelves for $25 from a college gym that was being renovated. We stripped and re-painted them, because they were in pretty bad shape, and then filled them with books and supplies.</p>
<p>This is the room where we are sleeping and working, while we finish building the <a href="http://kck.st/SxZEg2">cabin recording studio</a>. We built a small sleeping loft into the art studio, under which sits the tiny piano, some flat files, and two desks for working on art and music. </p>
<p>Beth wrote her songs and some piano parts for The Clearing in this little studio, and Phil’s been working on new Island Dweller songs out here, and the new Bowerbirds songs. This is also where a lot of the art for the <a href="http://kck.st/SxZEg2">Kickstarter project </a>was made, or will be made.</p>
