<p>Here&rsquo;s the <a href="http://kck.st/SxZEg2">cabin studio</a> from the same angle, midway through that summer.  You can see how we&rsquo;ve applied the tar paper and have started putting in the windows.  The windows all came from Habitat for Humanity Re-Stores, and we got most of them for about $11 each, when the store was having a 90% off sale on windows.  We just went ahead and bought all the windows at once, and then designed the house around what windows we could find.</p> <p>We wanted to let in a lot of natural light, but we also wanted to use double-paned windows, to insulate better against the cold during the winter.</p> <p>More about the cabin studio project here:<a href="http://kck.st/SxZEg2" target="_self"> http://kck.st/SxZEg2</a></p>
