<p>Here’s Phil in front of our <a href="http://kck.st/SxZEg2" target="_self">future cabin music studio</a>, back in early 2008. We had just framed out the upstairs, after finally caving in and buying a used generator, so we could use power tools. We’d built the whole first floor with just hand tools, including a hand auger instead of an electric drill, and hand saws for cutting through ¾" plywood for the floors.</p>
<p>For the upstairs floor, we found a pile of 2x6 remnants, all about 5’ long, which we pieced together to make a sort of mosaic “hardwood” floor.</p>
