On a moonless night, deep in the bush of South Luangwa National Park, the stars and Milky Way seem to be so bright you can almost reach out and touch them. Something to consider when choosing when you travel is moonrise—if you'd like to star gaze. A bright moon will washout the night sky, making viewing more difficult.
