Photo by @FransLanting Here’s another scene from our backpacking trip through the Paria River canyon, one of the most dramatic slot canyons in the Southwest. For this image I put my camera on a tripod and slowed the shutter speed down, which blurred my companions. It created a sense of motion as a counterpoint to the immutability of the landscape. A polarizing filter took glare off the rocks and saturated its colors.
