This is a shot from Waimea Bay on the north shore of Oahu and the day before the Eddie Aikau surfing competition. The double break here is sizable for most surf breaks but pretty small considering what was to come the next day, when 50-foot wave faces closed out the entire bay. #waimeabay #hawaii #oahu
