Photo by @amivitale. Budapest, Hungary has long been renowned for its health spas and thermal springs and here, people relax in the healing waters of Szechenyi Baths. It is one of the largest natural hot springs in Europe and throughout its century old history, about a 100 million bathers have enjoyed the warm medicinal waters. They discovered that many of these springs are connected underground by a huge “thermal lake” and the ancient Roman settlement, Aquincum, located on the outskirts of Budapest is the site of the very first hot mineral water bath.
