Even now in the mid summer, there is a lot of sea ice and icebergs in the area making it difficult for ships to navigate to the Polar Circle. The summer days are extremely long where the space between sunset and sunrise was only roughly 1.5hrs. #antarctica #polarcircle #moonrise #landscapephotography
