Photo @pedromcbride // Aerial view of the singing wells. Kenya’s Ewaso river experiences two seasons: Wet and dry. During the wet season, this east African river can ravage regions and then just days later, run dry. When the dry season sets in, lush life and watering holes dry up becoming harder and harder to find. The Samburu tribesman dig deep wells in the river bed and sing to their livestock during their time to water. Wildlife, meanwhile, stays in constant search of this irreplaceable life force until another rainy season returns. #africa #wildlife #freshwater #climatechange #aerial
