The world's greatest “mother” is the Earth herself. In a moonlit night of Himalayas the majestic Ama Dablam (6812m) stands under the two bright stars of Gemini, the Twins. Ama Dablam means "Mother's Neclace”. The long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (ama) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier thought of as the dablam, the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women.
