Photo by @andrea_frazzetta // Nicaragua. Inside the rainforest of Los Guatuzos I’ve met a Strawberry Poison-Dart Frog. It’s a tiny beautiful frog with a red body and blue legs (scientific name - Oophaga pumilio). This little frog’s poison is one of the most toxic among all the ’poison dart' frogs, once used by the natives for dipping their arrows tips. This rare specimen has found optimal conditions for her only inside this forest, with temperature constantly between 27 and 28 degrees and the humidity at ground always around 100%. @andrea_frazzetta @instituteartist #nicaragua #losguatuzos #natgeotravel
