Photo: @ChrisBurkard The poet Thomas Bracken dubbed New Zealand "Gods own country" in a poem he wrote in the 1880's. Since visiting the islands multiple times, and seeing how much diversity is in the landscape in such a small area, I would have to agree with Mr. Bracken.
