Photo by @KristaRossow // I’d never had the fear of getting lost in a sea of pagodas before visiting Shwe Indein Pagoda in #Myanmar. This massive site filled with Buddhist pagodas was constructed in the 11th and 12th centuries and is found in the backwaters of Inle Lake in the village of Indein. Some structures are crumbling whereas others are repaired to bright white or shiny gold by workers such as the one almost hidden in this scene.
