Wait for the zoom in and you will be surprised as I was when reviewing this image 5 years after it was taken in the amazing #Teymareh valley in #zagrosmountains of #Iran, home to thousands of prehistoric rock art. I've encountered #wildlife many times at night but this remained hidden. The petroglyph here illustrate a tale of horse riding hunters, snowfall, #wolf, asiatic #cheetah, and lion. Star cluster #Pleiades & constellation Taurus are in the sky.
