Photo by @CristinaMittermeier. A rainbow graces the sky over the fabled Lemaire Channel, in the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. This landscape surrounded by rugged peaks over often placid waters, is considered one of the most scenic places on Earth. I wouldn’t disagree. Tomorrow I head south to the Antarctic Peninsula #onassignment for @NatGeo with a team of amazing photographers and filmmakers. I will be joining @PaulNicklen, @Ladzindski and @Andy_Mann to document the extraordinary beauty and diversity of this ecosystem with the aim of pushing for the creation of a Marine Protected Area.
