Photo by @andywcoleman // We initially passed right by this male lion, as he was hidden in the tall grasses of the Masai Mara. We were alerted to his presence when he began to call out to the rest of the pride. A lion's roar can be heard from 5 miles away. Luckily, we were much closer when we heard the call.
