It is a bright day for the Arctic as 115 million acres of the Chukchi Sea and the Beaufort Sea become off limits to oil and gas exploration….indefinitely. This mother polar bear and her cub, photographed as they walk across the frozen Beaufort Sea, will get a chance to continue to roam on this vast wilderness.
