Mina is a #Tharu, an indigenous ethnic group of the southern #Terai region at the foot of the Himalayas. Interestingly, the Tharu have been found to have a particular genetic immunity to #malaria. An important attribute given that they are a self-proclaimed people of the forest. #onassignment with @carriemiller
