Photo: @ChrisBurkard The Dolomites are a jagged portion of the Alps located in the north eastern region of Italy. Villages like Santa Maddalena are scattered throughout the region, they are rich in history, culture, and pride of the place they call home. I could not have asked for better weather when I went in October. The first snow had just fallen the night before this was taken.
