Photo @materas // Fog rolling through an old growth forest, Mt. Baker Wilderness, Washington. I shot this a few years back on my hike up to shoot sunset photos of Mt. Baker and found this scene right along the trail. I went back a couple of years later and this section of forest had been destroyed in a windstorm and all of these trees were blown down. It was sad to see but reminded me of how temporary things can be, even a forest that has lasted for centuries.
