On a walk just over a mile in length I passed along ramparts and through towers with a view of the seemingly endless terracotta roofs of the Old Town. I also got this bird's-eye view of the buzzing main street (called Stradun) and the popular Onofrio Fountain where visitors often beat the heat and refill their water bottles.
