Six years later it is great seeing the Spirit Bear the locals call “Raccoon” because of the distinctive markings around her eyes. She is undoubtedly getting old and as she ages, she becomes more and more mellow. Early one morning we caught up to her as she was getting ready to take a nap. Looking straight into her eyes, one cannot help but wonder, Do animals have a soul? Does she remember the scent of people she has met in the past?
