As a climber I always thought sea kayaking would be a boring activity because it didn't seem to have much inherent risk. A few years ago I did a few sea kayaking trips and found them to be incredible experiences because we were so close to nature. Sea lions came close to check you out. Orcas would be swimming all around us. I had never felt so close to nature. And we, the group of friends and I, had a spectacularly amazing trip that was relaxed and adventurous with an immense sense of freedom. There are few better ways to travel this world than in a kayak - or on a bike in my opinion. #seakayaking #canada #vancouverisland
