Photo: @Chrisburkard Nothing like cooling off in an alpine lake after a long day hiking through the Cascades. Crazy to think this mountain range is almost 2 million years old and stretches from Northern California all the way up to British Columbia. I would recommend visiting this part of the Cascades in BC during the summer months of August and September so you can avoid the snowpack and more importantly the mosquitos! #worldphotoday
