Photo by @CristinaMittermeier // A fishing boat lifts its sail to trawl over the shallow waters off the tip of southern India. As recently as a decade ago, fishermen in this part of the state made one fishing trip every day. They would head out before dawn and come back with the day's catch by half-past eight. But now, as fish populations dwindle, many of them have to make two trips each day – two hours in the morning and another two in the evening.
