Trees help combat climate change and help us breath clean air by absorbing odors and pollutant gases and filtering particulates out of the air by trapping them on their leaves and bark. They can also be breathtakingly beautiful like this banyan tree on the Pipiwai Trail in Haleakala National Park on Maui. #NatGeoEarthDay
