It is a crowded and often busy experience, but there is a good reason for this: With views of these formations as the sun begins to lighten them and the Panamint Mountains in the distance, it is a jaw-dropping scene. You can photograph Zabriskie Point at sunset as well, but no matter when you visit here you are in for a grand view. A word of advice: Be sure to say hello to the other photographers next to you, as they will likely share some other good photo tips for the park. I learned a lot from chatting with fellow photographers who congregated at Zabriskie Point during the sunrise.
