In many part of Africa, lions generally do not like water and avoid swimming unless it is necessary. The lions of Duba Plains in Botswana stalk the swamps of the Delta, swim in deep water and are unusually active during the day. We watched thie Lions of this pride cross many waterways on their search for buffalo. #bigcats
