Photograph by @sarahpolger // One of my favorite moments on safari in Botswana was sitting in the Ntwetwe Pan as the sun set and stars filled every nook in the sky. Ntwetwe makes up part of the Makgadikgadi Pan, one of the largest salt pans in the world. Here, it’s easy to feel you’re far from everything else on earth. Our guides made a campfire and served sundowners as the group watched the beauty of the sky unfold. On the drive back to camp, I rode on the roof of the car surrounded by stars.
