Photograph by @sarahpolger // Morning light falls on Chapman’s Baobab tree in the Makgadikgadi Pan in Botswana. The giant tree was once used as a landmark for explorers traveling through the region. It is said the tree may have served as a post office—travelers would leave letters in the trunk of the tree, hopeful another traveler would deliver the letter to a final destination.
