Photo by @michaelclarkphoto // The highest mountain outside of the Himalayas is Aconcagua located near Mendoza, Argentina in the high Andes. At 6960 m (22,837 ft), Aconcagua creates it’s own storms and viente blanca (white winds), which can blow up to 200 mph often guard the summit. On this morning it was -40 degrees F. This was the view from high camp out our tent at 20,000 feet on the Ruta Normal. #aconcagua #argentina
