Exploration is something wired in us humans, so rappeling down the reddish and tan-colored Navajo Sandstone only felt fitting when trekking the off-trail hike of Orderville Canyon. To get to the trail-head required a high clearance 4-wheel drive vehicle with a road that's so narrow it would be impossible to turn around. As uncertain the hike may be, the unique views of the canyon made it all well worth it.
