Photographed by @susanseubert // Phantom Ship is a small island in Crater Lake in it’s namesake national park in Oregon. It is a natural rock formation made of andesite lave and is the oldest rock found above the surface of the lake. It derives its name from its resemblance to a ghost ship, especially in foggy and low-light conditions. Photographed #onassignment for @natgeonl @natgeotravel #oregon follow @susanseubert for more!
