Fall comes early in #Denali National Park in Alaska. When we were there in August, the colors were already starting to explode. The caribou, along with the wolf, grizzly bear, Dall sheep and moose, is part of the "big five" in the Park. The #Denali caribou herd stays mainly with the Park, but will occasionally wander outside of its borders. The size of the Denali herd has fluctuated greatly over the last 80 years. It once numbered over 20,000 but has now stabilized to 1800 to 2000 caribou. Photo by @andywcoleman
