We had the privilege to view a wild dog den with 17 extremely active pups during our latest #safari in South Africa. There were several francolins working the area for food, including small meat scraps brought back from the hunt for the pups. The birds kept a respectful distance from the adult dogs, but were much bolder around the pups. Every so often, a pup would take notice and stalk one of the francolins. This pup still has a bit to learn about being a predator. Taken at Ngala Private Reserve. Photo by @awc007
